7218 – Farmer in the Dell - A Cathedral Window Quilt ($41.29)

Materials/Techniques: Muslin "windows" frame 6 prints that were "fussy-cut" from a cotton fabric with charming farm figures. Some special buttons from my collection added just the right touch.

Artist Statement: I am fulfilling a "$1000 Promise" and making quilts of many different kinds. I had always wanted to make a Cathedral Windows quilt, but they are so time-consuming. Even this little one took a long time, but I really like the little windows and the "flower" design created by the window frames.
