Materials/Techniques: Materials and techniques include 100% cotton fabric and batting, paper pieced (pattern I made in Photoshop) and machine quilted.

Artist Statement: Pinwheels and "happy" colors remind me of some the best of times with my mom.

Dedication: This little quilt is dedicated to my mother, Doris Hays, a wonderful educator, writer, storyteller and the "very best grandmother." She was taken from us too early by Alzheimer's. It was extremely difficult to watch her brilliant mind slip away.
