Artist Statement: Close up, the tucks and folds are clearly seen. Step back across a room and enjoy the illusion of a sun behind fiery columns. The May challenge was Space Aliens - this illusion reminds me of Space Aliens - simply an illusion. Enjoy this fun little quilt!
