Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton was used for this quilt. It was crazy pieced, curve pieced, foundation pieced, and fusible appliquéd.

Artist Statement: This quilt is called Inside Out because of the way the corner star pieces are put together. The top star has the points on the outside of the red border, while the bottom star has the points on the inside. Sometimes, this is how I see dementia. The thoughts and ideas that used to be able to get past the borders of the brain slowly get trapped inside.
