Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric throughout, fusible web used for hearts. Machine appliquéd over hearts and machine outline quilting around them. Metal charms centered over two largest hearts, one of which says "Follow Your Heart".

Artist Statement: I combined two challenges from the last couple month's blogs, black & white plus any other color and phrases. So, I began with one of my favorite black & white fabrics as the background, then kind of got carried away by adding not just one other color, but 5 in the different hearts! The phrase was easy, "Follow Your Heart", as this particular phrase has been a part of my life for quite a long time. Then, I found the charm that said those very words and knew it's place was on this quilt.
