Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: Monthly challenge - “Three-dimensional elements” the waves are prairie points and the sails are curled back similar to cathedral windows. I read somewhere the Native Americans of Cape Code thought the Mayflower and the people on board were aliens, maybe not from space but from another world.

Dedication: To all the researchers who are working to keep the old sailors able to enjoy the wind and water.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
