Designer: This is an adaptation of Ricky Tims' Fantasia that he demonstrated on The Quilt Show, episode #312. He made the pattern available in the Projects section of the web site. I had to re-draw it to meet the size restrictions of AAQI. I have email permission to use the pattern in this way.

Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, raw edge appliqué, machine buttonhole stitch.

Artist Statement: When I saw Ricky Tims demonstrate this technique on The Quilt Show I wanted to make it. That was a few years ago and I just decided to make it smaller for AAQI. Ricky used a double blanket stitch on his, but I decided on a single blanket stitch.
