Materials/Techniques: This is a small version of an "I Spy" quilt. Cotton fabric and batting, metallic and cotton thread, commercial novelty buttons. Forty-eight different 1 1/2" cotton squares stitched together, seams topstitched with metallic thread, and one different novelty button in each square. The back of the quilt has a list of the different buttons.

Artist Statement: I'm at the age when all of my friends are becoming first-time grandparents, so I've been making baby quilts. This is my Priority "baby quilt".
