Materials/Techniques: Central area is one motif of a favorite piece of fabric. The stars' centers are also from the fabric with various colored points.
Artist Statement: I hesitate to call this a scrap quilt, but it is just exactly that. Actually there were two other quilts made using the same fabrics as in this one and one piece of clothing. I bought the print material a number of years ago for a shirt, but evidently I like it as there was a lot left over. So a sampler throw quilt for my daughter was made of the print with black and a number of different solids of colors that coordinated with the fabric colors. I also made a smallish quilt later. This quilt uses some of the fabric put away after that, except for new pieces in two of the stars.

Dedication: To the memory of my husband who always liked this fabric and bright colors on black. I did a lot of remembering when making this quilt.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
