Materials/Techniques: For this piece, I played with fabric by sewing pieces together, cutting what I got, and sewing some more. I used decorative top stitching in meander lines to mimic the river that inspired this piece.

Artist Statement: We have many rivers and creeks in our area, and I am always intrigued by the way they wander and meander over the land. I wanted to capture this in fabric. I chose colors and lines that reminded me of the creek nearest my home.
