Designer: This quilt includes a drawing of William Shakespeare that was designed by Bill Overton, the only man in our quilt guild. Bill gave written permission to use it.

Materials/Techniques: I used embroidery thread, ribbon, braid, cotton fabric, and polyester damask fabric. It is machine quilted using variegated cotton thread.

Artist Statement: I've been wanting to use this sketch of Shakespeare on a Priority quilt for over a year. I decided to look for a quote from the Bard that would go well with it. "Laugh yourself into stitches" is part of a line from Twelfth Night Act 3 scene 2.
