Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, eight layers stacked and cut to spread out into stars or pinwheels, machine pieced.

Artist Statement: I had wanted to try this particular quilt design which normally makes 15 inch square blocks, as a miniature quilt. I had a great deal of fun making it, and watching the design of the stars develop.
