Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton and cotton batiks, cotton thread and metallic thread Used raw-edge applique for peace symbol on a tie-dye looking batik, hand embroidered necklace chain using metallic thread and machine quilted daisy flower motif.
Artist Statement: The idea for this began with a conversation between my husband, Grover, and I about Woodstock in 1969 and some trends that followed...peace signs, flower power, and tie-dye.

Dedication: To my wonderful and life-loving parents, Jeanette and Guilford Keuss. Mom had ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and dad had Alzheimer's.
