Artist Statement: My aim in creating this piece is to draw awareness to the use of recycled materials in artwork. Art is everywhere around us, affecting our daily lives in both direct and seemingly indirect influences. I believe that beauty can be found in even the most unassuming of everyday items, one just has to look closely and open their mind to all possibilities.
