Materials/Techniques: Paper pieced, various fabrics, cotton batting, pre-made pink & blue rose buds. Machine pieced and machine quilted with cotton thread & Sulky silver metallic thread. Roses are appliqued on.

Artist Statement: I made "Rose Garden Sunset" for my April "Quilt-a Month" donation. I had thought about taking up the challenge & when I was looking thru a container of laces, trims & stuff, I found a baggie of the pink & blue roses. So, I got to meet the 3 challenges: the roses are my found, flat items . "Stop and smell the roses" was my quote & 4 sets of light, medium, dark of any color. I had fun with this one for sure
