Materials/Techniques: Painted linen, silk ribbon embroidery, painted cotton batting and beads.

Artist Statement: Mrs. Gailey was an avid gardener for many years. She had some plants in her garden for over 30 years. In her last years she developed Alzheimer's and could not work in her beloved garden any more so this quilt is in her honor. Mrs. Gailey left her garden in February 2011 and will be greatly missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched.
