Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, embroidery thread and wool yarn. The flower and leaves were created using bobbin thread painting.

Artist Statement: "Dandelion" brings fond memories of childhood. I loved finding dandelions with their full heads of hair just waiting to be picked and blown into the wind.

Dedication: Dandelion is dedicated to a woman in my church named Debbie. She has early onset Alzheimer’s and is a young woman. She has recently been moved to an assisted living facility.
