Width: 8.375" Length: 8.6875"
Designer: From the pattern "February 15 Watercolor Heart" from the book "365 Quilt Blocks a Year Calendar" ©1999 by Nancy J Martin. Permission granted by Martingale and Company.
Materials/Techniques: Pieced with 12 different cotton fabrics and stitch in the ditch quilting.
Artist Statement: When I saw this pattern, I knew this was one that would fit how I felt when we lost my mother-in-law Mary Polzin. My heart felt like it shattered in a million pieces when we lost her, but her spirit lives on and gradually my heart grew whole again with the wonderful memories I have of her! Mary brought such happiness to those she knew, and we all miss her so very much! I'm so happy for this opportunity to do something that can help raise funds for research needed to find a cure for Alzheimer’s.
Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to the memory of my mother-in-law, Mary Polzin.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
