Width: 9" Length: 8.75"
Materials/Techniques: Paper piecing, machine quilted, all cotton.
Artist Statement: I only followed one of the suggestions for the second block of the month - flowers. With the tragedy in Japan, I wanted to make a lantern and the floral with butterflies represents Hope. Hope for the Japanese and for the people with Alzheimer’s and their families!
