Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric from Tanzania with borders made of cotton fabric. This piece is machine pieced and quilted.

Artist Statement: I was inspired to make this quilt by the African fabric I found at a local quilt shop. I quilted it in a pattern echoing the large purple shape in the upper right. It reminds me of ripples in a pond.
