Materials/Techniques: The star is a off center diamond log cabin block. The logs are 1/8" and 1/4" wide. The setting triangles and border are from 1/4" strips of three different green marbled fabric.

Artist Statement: It is quite difficult to make a shaped log cabin block that work in to quilts this small and not end up with but one block or something so small that it is hard to see the design. I opted for the one block and bright colors.
