Width: 9" Length: 9"
Materials/Techniques: Cotton commercial fabrics, some plain colors, others printed. Traditionally pieced 2" log cabin blocks made from 1/4" logs set on point, with colors arranged to make the design. The binding is part of the design and is 1/8".
Artist Statement: I really like log cabin quilts, and especially like the fact that they can be done in many configurations. In this quilt the colors were placed so that "cubes" of the deeper colors were formed, making the colors more important to the design than the placement of the diagonals.

Dedication: To my aunt, a teacher, who tried to teach me about how colors went together. She succumbed to Alzheimer's many years later.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
