Designer: Victoria Craig. Pattern: Will & Way, http://www.thequiltpatternshoppe.com/ shop/category/designer/patterned-heart/, ©2005, (made in miniature).
Materials/Techniques: I printed a sheet from a JPEG of a quilt I made for my son’s wedding. I added batik for backing and binding, and quilted it with variegated thread. It is finished with Fast Finish Triangles at the top.
Artist Statement: I made the 40 inch square quilt for my son and his new wife. My son said he wanted one of my original quilts for his wedding gift. I had tried to make the quilt three times and couldn’t, when I thought of a way that I could make it, I called it Will & Way. I have been wanting to make some of the priority quilts for a long time, this is the first finished.
