6774 – a-MAZE-ing

Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric from 3 fat quarters, Natural Wonder cotton batting, machine piecing and quilting, courthouse steps method.

Artist Statement: Instead of using the same fabric on opposite sides of the center, I used two different fabrics, alternating them to give a maze effect. It was a lot more tedious than it sounds, and I was amazed that it came out the way I had hoped. I like the visual effect. I made it to fulfill my self-imposed goal of one donation quilt per month. This is my third (for March).

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $40 for AAQI.
