Materials/Techniques: Cottons, blends; pieced self-designed background block; machine appliqué.

Artist Statement: I drew this pattern (based on a clip-art image) in late summer of 2006. It was the center of a virtual Round Robin sponsored by EQ. For the auction quilt, this little guy was intended to be parked smack-dab in the middle but he had a mind of his own. He kept inching over to the side and did it so slowly that I didn’t always notice. Finally I let him have his own way.
