Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric and batting.

Artist Statement: To help raise money and awareness for the need for a cure for Alzheimer's disease. This is a pot holder made by my mother that I found in a drawer. I thought the colors were pretty and wanted to do something memorable with it. So here it is as Kitchen Art. I attached it to a small quilt which I used fabric with like colors that she used in the pot holder.

This quilt earned $50 for AAQI.
The original buyer of this quilt has graciously donated it back to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative so that it can raise even more money to fight Alzheimer's.
