Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, appliqué, assortment of thread and fabric strips, hand quilted.

Artist Statement: My first AAQI quilt. I really enjoyed making this quilt. I love to garden and roses are one of my favorite; so I thought a bird's nest in a rose bush would be neat.

Dedication: To my grandmother, Ruth Perkins, she never knew a stranger.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $50 for the AAQI.
