Width: 9" Length: 12"
Designer: Design by Marjorie Rhine. From her pattern, 'Get Set For Spring'. Pattern # MR-115 - published by Quilt Design Northwest ©2002. Used with email permission.
Materials/Techniques: The shades of the magenta large flower are paper pieced, as are the chartreuse stem, leaves and background. The center of the flower shines with a large white pearl button with a gem center.
Artist Statement: After making a set of place mats for myself from this pattern - it seemed this happy bright flower would be perfect in a wall hanging. It certainly is! Hopefully, it will brighten a home.
