New River, AZ USA
Width: 8.75" Length: 8.75"
Designer: Modified “Carpenter's Square” block by Marcia Hohn from Quilterscache.com. Used with written permission.
Materials/Techniques: Pieced 100% cotton fabrics, cotton batting, machine quilted.
Artist Statement: Measure Twice, Cut Once (Again) is a great title for this, since I had a hard time getting the pieces in the correct places. Probably similar to what some Alzheimer's patients experience at the beginning of their illness. I knew how it was supposed to work; I just couldn't make it happen perfectly the first time!
Dedication: In honor of Uncle Deane, a carpenter before Alzheimer's found him.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
