Width: 4.875" Length: 11.625"
Designer: Jackie Robinson from Quilts in the Tradition of Frank Lloyd Wright Adapted from Pages 24-27, Animas Quilts Publishing, Copyright 1995.
Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric with shades of blue batik for the “window”. The black edging is created from ¾ inch strips and not bias tape.
Artist Statement: Inspired by Jackie Robinson’s book, “Quilts in the Tradition of Frank Lloyd Wright” this little window is from a larger work I made my husband for Christmas. It was a definite challenge and one I will only repeat for the AAQI project! In the end, however, it seemed to be as if one was looking onto a snowy and icy landscape from inside a warm home.

Dedication: Dedicated to all the faithful family and friends of those who suffer with Alzheimer’s.
