Materials/Techniques: Cotton with collage and thread painting.

Artist Statement: I love Oriental things and I also love sitting by a spring or river and looking at the beautiful landscape. In this quilt, a pretty Japanese lady sits by the site of a river, enjoying the spring and the flowers.

Dedication: Although my mom didn't, to my knowledge, have Alzheimer's, I believe she definitely had Dementia, and it was quite bad. My dad had it too in the end, and it produced a very painful end with our folks for my brother and me.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
