Materials/Techniques: All hand-dyed cotton except one pink cotton heart, hand appliquéd, hand quilted.

Artist Statement: All five hearts represent people of my heart who had Alzheimer's; four have died, one is in major decline.

Dedication: The five people represented by the hearts are: my mother, my father-in-law, my aunt, and two of my friends.
