Materials/Techniques: Commercial batik background. Fused appliqué is cut from fabric paper made by Barbara Strembicki of Joggles.com. Fused binding is hand dyed fabric from quiltersstitchtogether.com, trimmed with fiber.

Artist Statement: Barbara posted a fabric paper tutorial on Joggles.com and kindly offered samples of her work. I love using fabric paper for fused appliqué because of how neat the edges cut clean and stay clean.
