Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric and thread, 80/20 batting, machine sewn.

Artist Statement: In 1995 I made a lot of these Evening Star blocks as I was a new quilter and these stars had became my favorite block. This star was made then and these colors struck me as lovely together. I never used this block so wanted to use it now.

Dedication: Dedicated to my sweet mother, Dot, who mentally "youthened" due to Alzheimer’s. I became too old to be her Barbara because she became too young to have a child my age. Before she stopped talking, she once wondered aloud if her mother knew where she was. I still miss her.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $20 for the AAQI.
