Materials/Techniques: Cotton quilting fabric and Hobb's Thermore batting. Machine pieced and machine quilted. Binding is hand-sewn on back side.

Artist Statement: This quilt is made from the scraps left over from a quilt I made for my step-son this past Christmas. I loved the black and tan combination of fabrics and decided to try my first Alzheimer's quilt. All of the pieces are cut at 1 inch wide, so they finish at 1/2" wide, then I machine quilted horizontal rows every 1/4". It's my first attempt at making a quilt this small, and it was so much fun! This certainly won't be my last miniature!
