Artist Statement: Ami Simms came to speak at Kernersville Quilt Guild. I was so excited as I've seen Ami on Simply Quilts and followed her by email, newsletter, Facebook, etc. I was especially moved with a presentation of the Alzheimer Quilts on The Quilt Show. Seeing "Quilt-A-Month" on the Alzheimer website presented a perfect project since these quilt can be simple and quick, AND make a difference! Thanks for the inspiration, Ami!!!!
