Artist Statement: The quilt depicts selling bikes and birdhouses behind the stone wall, and the fun we had at the beach. The gray cloud is for Alzheimer’s, and how it slowly changes life, piece by piece.

Dedication: I am dedicating this quilt to “Uncle Cricket.” From the weekends at Nauset Beach, to making birdhouses and selling his “treasures” and bicycles on North Avenue, he always had time for me and my family. My “Honey” will always be a part of me no matter what.
