Materials/Techniques: Cotton, fused machine applique, hand quilted.

Artist Statement: I just loved Pat Sloan's quilt designs, and thought she was so generous to allow quilters to use them for AAQI quilts. I wanted to do something pretty quickly, and her wonderful Farmer's Market quilt had several blocks that could be worked up in just a couple of hours. Thank you, Pat Sloan!

Dedication: To the memory of my aunt, Emma Hughes, extraordinary quilter; passed away in 1995 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Emma was one of my mother's six sisters who met on Wednesdays to quilt & gossip over coffee & muffins. I miss them so much!
