Materials/Techniques: Background is a piece of Rust-Tex, with strips of commercial vintage print and walnut ink stained pink ribbon. Flower is started with ripped tea bags edged with tri color cording. Plastic button was re-colored with alcohol inks and the center is more of the cording.
Artist's Statement: Love the gentle soft feel of rusted fabrics - and walnut ink and tea bags are the perfect compliment!
Dedication: To my Dad, passed away with Alzheimer's. May his new life with God be wonderful! This quilt is displayed with a hanging ring.
