Artist's Statement: As a teacher, Jerry's goal was to help students learn. This image is his logo based on his Doctorate of Education which investigated methods to engage all parts of the brain to facilitate learning and memory. Ironically, diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Jerry continues to study the brain - only now as a participant in several clinical studies. Others are investigating HIS brain to learn how this disease affects the brain and thus learning and memory.
