Tuttle, OK USAWidth:
This and four other quilts were made from swatches of Benartex fabric named Mayfair. Two 5" squares of each piece in the collection were sent out with the Fall edition of the Preview Pack Club Fat Quarterly. Each quilt is an example of a different type quilt. All were made with 1/8" seams and careful cutting to utilize the fabric to the best advantage. Quilted with clear thread.Artist's Statement:
This was the last quilt made in the series by using most of the fabric still remaining in large enough pieces to make 132 three-quarter inch blocks which were arranged in a checker board like design around a mostly pink center. Remaining pieces of the striped fabric were sewn together to make a pieced 1/8" binding.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles
This quilt earned $45 for AAQI.
