Materials/Techniques: Synthetic fabrics over Timtex center, Metallic hand sewing, fabric manipulation, beading, Metallic binding.
Artist's Statement: An image from the book of Genesis about the Holy Spirit brooding over the waters. It is dark blue but lightened up with metallic threads and iridescent beads tumbling down from above into the waters below. This is a postcard format but fits the definition of a quilt by having a top fabric layer, a center layer of peltex, and a back fabric covering.
