Materials/Techniques: Quilted design using pieced cotton batik fabrics with a hand stenciled design and a bit of fabric marker painted lines, variegated rayon thread using a several design stitches, cotton binding.

Artist's Statement: One of a series of autumn images for a journal quilt project I participated in a few years ago reflecting some of the things I love the most about autumn: falling leaves, golden colors set against dark moody skies.
