Materials/Techniques: cottons and blends; foundation/paper pieced center; inset circle.
Artist's Statement: I love making small quilts for the AAQI auction. When I finish one, I hang it on the wall near the computer. When I have four or five there, I bundle them off to Michigan for the rest of the auction process. This simple little whirligig design was the second quilt of a batch of four, so I've been looking at it for a while. I'm going to miss it.

Dedication: To foundation/paper piecers everywhere who are not ashamed of this sewing method. There are a few quilters who state, "And it's not foundation pieced!" as if to distance themselves from those of us who enjoy the fpp process. Hmm-m ...
