Materials/Techniques: cottons and blends; foundation/paper pieced center; inset circle.
Artist's Statement: Electric Quilt's Andrea Bishop had a series of lessons on the EQ website, based on altering the basic 8-pointed kaleidoscope block. In the last segment, she pointed out that the same thing could be done by dividing a circle in any number of divisions. I had a lot of fun playing with this idea, especially odd numbered segments. This five-pointed star is the first of such designs that I've made up in fabric.
