Artist's Statement: Using leftovers from a current project, this quilt was made to express the ups and downs of dealing with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
Barbara Black Dedication: Made in memory of Mary Katherine Vermillion Wells, the mother of a good friend of mine. Mary had Alzheimer's. This quilt was made in lieu of making a gift for my friend, Ellen Wells Anson. Honoring her mother was more important than giving Ellen a gift--it IS the gift.
