Carolyn Beam
Golden, CO USAWidth: 9"
Length: 12"
Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced, hand quilted, 3D flowers embellished with buttons.
Artist's Statement: This simple pieced background with a variety of
different fabrics reminded me of the scattered thoughts of a person suffering from Alzheimer's. The flowers symbolize the small but beautiful memories that remain.
