Artist's Statement: I had never even sat in front of a sewing machine before but when I heard about this Initiative, I just HAD to make a quilt. My mother has always made quilts so I got her to teach me from start to finish.

Dedication: My father passed away last year after battling Alzheimer's for over two years. This quilt is dedicated to him and everyone else afflicted with the disease. May a cure be found soon!!
