Materials/Techniques: Batik fabrics, fusible applique, machine pieced an quilted. Original design. Took digital photos of leaves in my yard to get applique leaves. Some hand quilting.
Artist's Statement: Alzheimer's takes away our loved ones one layer at a time - until there is just the shell of a person remaining.
