Materials/Techniques: I altered a picture of a rose in Microsoft program and then printed it on 100 percent cotton. I quilted it with colored thread using trapunto under the rose. I put a crystal as a dewdrop on a petal.

Artist's Statement: I put a flexible binding system around the edge of the quilt. The quilt can be hung flat, framed or a 10 x 8 canvas or foam core can be inserted to have the picture stand out from the wall.
